As part of the “Runter vom Gas” road safety campaign, I developed an interactive WordPress-based storytelling map visualizing traffic accident data.

As part of the road safety campaign “Runter vom Gas,” an interactive web application was needed to combine accident data from Germany with personal stories. The aim was to communicate road safety in an emotional and accessible way, with a strong focus on usability and accessibility.
Die Lösung
The application was built with WordPress and combines scrollytelling with an interactive Mapbox map. As users scroll, personal stories are linked to accident data. Key challenges included implementing seamless map interactions while ensuring performance, data privacy, and mobile optimization.
