What does WordPress maintenance cost per month?
It depends on the size and state of the site — a lean company site needs less care than a shop with many plugins. After a short look at your site you will get a concrete offer with a fixed monthly price.
Do you take over sites that someone else built?
Yes — that is actually the most common case. It starts with a short audit: what is installed, where are the risks, what should happen first. Then I take over the ongoing care.
What happens if my site gets hacked or goes down?
Then speed matters: clean the site, restore from backup, close the gateway. As a maintenance client you are prioritised — and current updates and backups make the emergency far less likely in the first place.
Do I really need a maintenance retainer?
Not necessarily — one-off jobs are possible too. But planned, proactive maintenance is almost always cheaper than the emergency call when something is broken. The retainer is cancellable monthly, no fine print.
Do you also maintain Shopify shops?
Yes. For Shopify I handle theme updates, clean up unnecessary apps and look after custom code — so the shop stays fast and maintainable.
