The artist behind the Berlin art project Very Ugly Plates is contrasting the images on traditional wall plates with hilarious contemporary captions. Following the project’s huge popularity on Instagram, an online shop was to be set up in 2019. Because of a recent feature on VICE Magazine, the project had to go live as soon as possible.

Die Umsetzung

Because of a tight schedule of only one week, the decision was quickly made to choose Shopify as the platform for the online shop. Using Shopify’s template language Liquid, HTML, and SCSS, I made sure the necessary page templates were ready for the deadline.
